I’d never photographed at the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore until this wedding day shooting as second photographer for Lauren Cunningham. We heard wonderful things and this beautiful place lived up to all my expectations. The location is right in the center of Baltimore, perfect for quick daytime stroll over to Fells Point. Valet parking was available, which made entering and exiting with gear much easier!
I met the groom in his suite for getting ready before leaving for the atrium for portraits. I really love all the light that shines through the atrium during the day. It’s a great natural light alternative to hotel wedding portraits that I don’t get the opportunity to shoot often! I captured candids with the guys before hopping into the limo to go to the church.
After Morgan and Blake said their ‘I do’s,’ we spent a few minutes outside on the cobblestone street. Wedding party portraits were a highlight because we had lots of onlookers! In just a few minutes, Lauren and I captured some epic rainy day wedding portraits I still love to this day!
The ballroom at the Sagamore Baltimore is on another level. It is a great expansive space that accommodates weddings of all sizes. They also have a lovely cocktail service with custom cocktails and fabulous food for the guests. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better day to be married!
Note: The images from this event were photographed by Michelle as a second photographer for Lauren C. Photography.
