Despite the threat of Hurricane Florence on their wedding day, Dayana and Troy were determined to be married. The morning of their Great Marsh Estate wedding, the weather shifted suddenly left on the radar, completely missing them!
With planning and coordination from Claire Duran and dusty pink and mauve florals by Amy Lauren Floral Design, it was a beautiful day from the start. Dayana and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite, with hair and makeup by Sue Minskey. The girls shared a champagne toast before getting dressed. I just loved the color of these dusty purple dresses for fall! Troy and his groomsmen looked sharp in their gray suits and lavender ties–a winning combo in my book. The couple shared a memorable first look before guests arrived, and we invited the wedding party to join us for portraits.
The ceremony was held outdoors on north lawn as the sun peeked through a break in the clouds. The newlyweds shared a kiss down the aisle before gathering for family portraits and later heading to cocktail hour. We’re so honored to be a part of the first wedding reception held in The Stables.
