This Christmas Antrim 1844 wedding was photographed by Michelle Whitley as a second photographer for Anne Casey in December 2019. Michelle is an Antrim 1844 wedding photographer available for weddings and engagements in Taneytown, Maryland and beyond.
Emily and Joe exchanged vows the week between Christmas and New Years Eve in 2019. Living in Frederick, Taneytown was a short drive away from my residence. I had heard excellent things about the venue and looked forward to my visit. Seeing the place dolled up around Christmastime gave me all the cozy feelings to help capture the day beautifully.
The couple chose to get ready with their parties on site in separate spaces at Antrim 1844. Emily and her bridesmaids dressed in the Winfield Scott Room of the Slonaker House while Joe and his groomsmen remained in the Boucher Suite of the The Mansion. One of the best parts of about getting married at Antrim is the on accommodations available to guests!
Before the ceremony, the bride and groom had a private moment together in a First Look. We then captured the rest of their portraits with the wedding party and family—all before the ceremony started!
Congratulations to Emily and Joe! Wishing you both a wonderful life together filled with love and happiness.
