February was the perfect month for this Baltimore newborn session. I traveled to White Marsh and was greeted with a beautifully decorated botanical garden themed nursery, and sweet baby. Sarandon is a new mom and is so loving. I enjoyed spending time with her and capturing these special moments as she enters motherhood.
I was impressed with the thought and detail Sarandon put into decorating her nursery. She is a plant-lover like myself and you’ll find many varieties around their home. She told me she had the wonderful idea to bring her plants into the nursery a few months before birth. The young life that filled this room was refreshingly serene. Sarandon also incorporated light woods and natural materials to keep colors of the theme consistent.
Pro Tip: Maintain a carefully planned and curated nursery to help bring newborn pictures to life inside the home. I recommend choosing one theme and sticking to it, while keeping colors and wood tones consistent. It’s also easy to decorate around any certain animal. Some examples are: Safari (giraffe, lion, tiger, etc.), Ocean (dolphin, whale, turtle), or Transportation (planes, cars, trains).
