During bridal party pictures, it started to sprinkle down rain and we had to hurry back inside!

Laney and Ryan exchanged vows on a beautifully cloudy day at Glen Ellen Farm in Ijamsville, Maryland. My favorite portion of the day was getting ready with Laney. I adore her style and vision for her bridal look on this wedding day. Ryan didn’t look so bad himself–this couple’s style was top notch!

I photographed this wedding on the same day as a huge storm rolled in through Frederick, Maryland. During the reception, the venue experienced extreme rain and flooding through the outdoor tent. We definitely all thought it was time to pull the curtains! Not pictured–actual water flooding the dance floor while guests danced. I’m thankful the rain eventually stopped and we were able to enjoy the rest of the night. It was a very memorable wedding day for Laney & Ryan—I was happy to be a part of it!
