About the Session
I met Liz and Paul in Hershey, Pennsylvania, for their beautiful late fall engagement session. The weather was cool but not cold, which made for a comfortable, brisk temperature. Initially, I worried about the date of our session because I thought all of the fall leaves may be gone. Thankfully they were not, and we struck upon the most dreamy open field of fallen yellow leaves (scroll to the end to see more)!
We began our stroll in the rose garden. I liked how the deep green color of the rose leaves complemented Liz and Paul’s outfit colors. We then made our way through a shady spot under the trees to a lush, overgrown arbor tunnel. You all know I’m a sucker for those whimsical climbing plants—I think my clients are, too!
Afterward, we kept walking in search of fall color. After all, I wanted to give Liz the fall color she had originally envisioned for their session. We then stumbled upon the most incredible display fallen yellow leaves from a large tree nearby. The area was untouched, leaving it all to ourselves.
After capturing some photos along the trails, we decided to head back to the main building. Liz and Paul agreed they wanted some of the last glowing light of Hershey Park and sunset captured by the fountain. In my opinion, the resulting photos are some of the most romantic ones of the session.
I enjoyed working with Liz and Paul for their engagement and wedding photos. If you enjoyed Liz and Paul’s engagement session, don’t leave without checking out their gorgeous Eastern Shore wedding at Kirkland Manor here!
