I’ll never forget our European honeymoon in 2016. I’ve been waiting for the day I can finally share the unofficial start of my film journey with you. Michael and I have always wanted to visit Europe for as long as we can remember. We talked about it on multiple occasions and it seemed like a distant dream we’d never see come to life.
One day we realized that Europe couldn’t wait any longer, and we decided to take a huge risk and plan to go there on our honeymoon. Most couples would opt for the usual all-inclusive tropical beach resort (and I did want this earlier on), but at some point we realized that the beach isn’t going anywhere. Europe is not always the easiest option, and it couldn’t have been more perfect timing for us.
After we married in May, we packed our suitcases and left the country for Europe. Of course, since it was our first time we had to make all the important tourist-y stops. Here’s a list of the places we visited:
I carried my 35mm film camera every step of the way and I’m glad I chose to do that. It pleasantly slowed me down and I was able to get some amazing images. I hope you enjoy browsing our European honeymoon photos and living in those moments with us. We’ll be returning again someday!

Wow stumbled upon your site from Instagram. Inspirational! It is 1:14am in Dublin and there I am rooting my film camera out of my office and hoping I have a role lying around. Fantastic photos and fantastic piece. Phill, Punctum Photography
