This gorgeous Inn at Perry Cabin wedding on the Chesapeake Bay was one to remember. I joined Elisa Bricker with her couple, Courtney and Matt, for a lovely intimate event planned by Anne Book. I was absolutely smitten by all the lovely details of the day, and you’ll see below.
My day started in the bridal suite with Elisa. Courtney’s dress was the most beautiful dress I’d ever seen, with its satin overlays and delicate details. Her flower girls wore simple white, but adorned with florals appliqués. I admire how Anne helped Courtney incorporate plenty of textures throughout different elements of the day.
Matt and Courtney opted for a first look outside by the water. The wonderful thing about having a wedding at Inn at Perry Cabin is that there is a multitude of portrait locations. Courtney created a totally different vibe from other weddings I’ve seen here, just by choosing different locations!
Although it was drizzly and somewhat rainy, Courtney and Matt shared a few beautiful moments during their indoor ceremony. The alter was dressed up by none other than the floral goddess herself, Sidra Forman. I love how Sidra plays with color and texture in her thoughtful designs.
After portraits, the wedding couple celebrated their reception on the venue’s northeastern lawn under a stunning sailcloth tent. Courtney and Matt sipped cocktails while mingling with their guests during cocktail hour. Anne coordinated with the photo team to capture some amazing details at the reception, including a lounge area and custom-mapped escort card wall. What an incredibly fun day! Thank you again, Elisa, for having me along to help capture it with you.
