I was hired as a third photographer by Lauren Fair to help photograph this beautiful Horticultural Center wedding. Sam and Zach tied the knot in mid-April outside Fairmont Park, with a reception that followed inside. The beautiful florals and ceremony installation were provided by Robertson’s Flowers.
What made this day special were the many blooming cherry blossoms behind the park. Although there were many visitors, we were able to capture a few amazing photos of the couple during peak bloom! The trees only bloom for a few days in the spring and the couple timed it perfectly–so incredible!
The couple enjoyed a lively cocktail hour with friends and family before heading back out to Fairmont Park for sunset portraits. We loved the custom polaroid Instax seating chart LJ Events designed with the couple – so creative!
I worked with Lauren Fair who was primary photographer and Lauren James Events who designed and coordinated the day. All my images were captured on 35mm film and processed by Indie Film Lab. I hope you enjoy my favorite photos from the day!

We love the soft hues and cool tones of this botanical-themed Baltimore nursery featuring snuggles, coos, and of course—fiddle figs.
