Their Story

MaryAsa and Nate are a legacy couple of ours who we first met back in 2021. When Sarah was working with Michelle Whitley Photography, she captured MaryAsa and Nate’s engagement photos on the National Mall. I beamed when MaryAsa asked me to capture a family session for them back in their home state of Mississippi.

The couple used to live in DC but are now living in Mississippi. MaryAsa previously worked for Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker at the US Capitol building. You can view their Washington D.C. engagement session that Sarah captured on the blog here!

I enjoyed a perfect evening with MaryAsa and Nate at this Town of Livingston family session. The sunset was killer, which gave way to incredible light and shadows. Their dog, Stanley, loved running around in the open space, as well. He definitely brought the energy and kept things moving!

At the end of our session, I put up the drone for a few aerial photos of the sunset. The day was perfect, and I’m always up to be back with previous couples to create new adventures.
