About the Day

Shawn and Laurie were a fun couple to be around on their wedding day. Despite the hustle and bustle of wedding days in general, Laurie seemed relaxed as could be and Shawn was just happy to finally see and be with his new wife. They are completely in love and you can definitely see it in their couples portraits.

The bride and groom both prepared for the day at the Sheraton in North Baltimore before making a short drive to Hope Lutheran Church where they later exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Back at the Sheraton, the couple enjoyed a relaxed and lighthearted evening at their reception filled with their most-cherished family and friends. 

Something in particular that touched me which I still remember about this wedding is Laurie’s relationship with her mother. Her father passed away and of course was unable to be at the wedding. Laurie danced with her mother for her parent dance and they cried. I have a similar relationship with my own mother can relate to her in a real way. It’s special things like that that make wedding photography so worth it.
