This Philadelphia, Mississippi engagement session was captured by Michelle Whitley in late September 2021 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. I met Caroline and Joseph for their engagement session on Joseph’s family farm where it all started. Joseph proposed to Caroline under a tree just down the hill from where we were photographing. Caroline knew it would be special if we captured moments from that memory in the same location. The groom’s sister married her sweetheart here less than 24 hours before our session, as well!
When I spoke with Caroline on the phone a few weeks prior, she told me how much she loved film photography. We connected on that level as well as the timing and my availability was perfect. I am so glad I was able to capture their love and get creative all at once!
At the end of our session we watched the sun set by the water and captured the stunning colors of dusk. These two will wed in less than one month and we are so excited for their special day!
