Belle Haven Country Club: A Top Wedding Venue in Alexandria

Katie and Trav’s November wedding at Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria, Virginia, was a warm, elegant celebration. Set in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, the venue offered classic charm, scenic views, and timeless beauty.

First, we met Katie getting ready in the bright, spacious bridal suite at The Alexandrian Hotel. Her gown was a vision of timeless elegance. We’re BIG fans of the attached double-train. Trav and his groomsmen got ready just steps away at the couple’s home. Afterward, the groomsmen made their 5-minute walk to the church for the ceremony.

Their ceremony took place at The Basilica of St. Mary, a local Catholic church in Old Town Alexandria. Afterward, once Katie and Trav exchanged vows and shared their first kiss, they recessed down the old steps of the church outside. Without a doubt, these photos are some of my favorites from the day!

Next, at the reception venue, we captured wedding party and newlywed portraits along the course at Belle Haven. The colors of dusk at Belle Haven in Virginia are unlike anywhere I’ve seen!

Belle Haven Country Club’s indoor spaces offered the ideal balance of sophistication and comfort. With crystal chandeliers, neutral-toned walls, and classic architectural details, the venue created a warm, inviting space for dinner and dancing. We loved capturing every detail of the beautiful ballroom! Meanwhile, Katie and Trav enjoyed spending time with their guests at cocktail hour across the hall.
