Chelsea and Justin are one of the coolest couples I met this entire year. Seriously. Like put your sunnies on inside, cool. I was hired by Kait Bailey Photography as a second photographer for their glamorous spring Belvedere Hotel wedding this past April. It was my first time visiting the Baltimore Belvedere, and it did not disappoint!

The couple chose to do a first look which gave us extra time outside the hotel for portraits. The bridesmaids’ lavender dresses were perfect for a soft spring color palette. Chelsea’s dress was a lovely old Hollywood glam. She wore simple drop earrings and bold hair pin to match the style. We captured wedding party portraits in the Belvedere’s historic neighborhood in front of the hotel before losing too much light behind the city buildings.

Later in the evening Chelsea and Justin exchanged vows in the Belvedere’s twelfth-floor ballroom as the sun was setting. We captured a full cocktail hour before resuming the reception. I’m in love with the tall ceilings and uplighting this hotel has to offer. If you’re looking for a lovely classic ballroom setting for your Baltimore wedding, I would definitely consider the Belvedere!
