Modern & exceptional wedding photography.

It’s said that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. I do believe that’s true, but what does a flash rainstorm mean for this spring Marriott Ranch wedding? Kim and Rob experienced this first-hand and will have a very memorable story to tell their children and grandchildren one day!

Marriott Ranch is a lovely all-in-one property for small weddings. I was hired by Emily Blumberg Photography as a second photographer for my first Virginia wedding of the 2019 season. Kim’s girls wore sweet baby pink, floor-length dresses that perfectly matched the peonies in her bouquet. Rob and the groomsmen donned navy blue suits with brown shoes and pink accent to tie in with the bridesmaids. Guests arrived in cocktail attire for the late afternoon ceremony under the oak tree behind the Marriott’s manor house. Facing the Blue Ridge mountains, it was the perfect picturesque setting!

Kim and Rob took advantage of a stunning sunset for portraits before joining the reception. Thank you Emily for having me alongside you to help photograph this joyous celebration!
