This Metropolitan Club winter wedding is one I’m so excited about. I was hired by Cecilie Olaussen as film photographer to help capture the day.
Torrey and Gary’s timeless style is totally what I think of as quintessential Washington, DC. The wedding couple was married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown, followed by a reception at Metropolitan Club. The couple recessed down the aisle with a dip kiss and rode toward the monuments in their vintage white Rolls Royce car. The entire day was designed and coordinated by my friend and wedding planner Margo Fischer of Bright Occasions, with florals by Atelier Ashley Flowers.
My time was split between the bride and groom getting ready at the Willard InterContinental in downtown. I joined Tori in the limo with her parents for a few portraits before arriving to the church for the ceremony. Tori was accompanied by her father for the processional. Later at the reception, the couple enjoyed drinks and dancing with their invited guests.
What a day to remember! Thank you again Cecilie Olaussen for bringing me on the team as film photographer for the day.
