Mikaela and Bryson’s chemistry was amazing for their Lincoln Memorial engagement in DC last month. I love that there were still a few colorful leaves on the trees to add to the Fall feel. The early morning light created a beautiful soft orange glow as well, and the images turned out so dreamy!
Mikaela and I have been friends for about a year and a half now. She worked as a second photographer for me for a few events earlier this year and did a great job. DC can be such a big place to find your circle; I feel so lucky to have Mikaela as a friend in this wonderful city!
We started our session at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial, and later made our way up into the iconic white pillars. Mikaela surprised me with a beautiful custom bouquet, which she made herself! The causal chic quality of her ASOS dress combined with Bryson’s blue jacket created that classic DC look we were going for.
If you enjoyed this Lincoln Memorial engagement session, you’ll love Taryn and Peter’s classic Philadelphia engagement here!
