I met up with Taryn and Peter in June to capture their Philadelphia engagement session in both Old City (where they used to live) and the iconic Ben Franklin Bridge. As they both remember fondly living there, we wanted to be sure to capture a few photos in their old neighborhood before they moved. We had so much fun walking about this historic part of the city!
The session began at Head House Square, then later walked to Washington Square Park. We also made sure to stop at their favorite brewery “Mac’s Tavern” on Market Street before finishing out session at Race Street Pier. You can view our exact walking route linked at the bottom of this post!
Taryn and Peter were slated to marry this May but have now postponed due to COVID-19. I’m thankful to be still be photographing their wedding in the fall at Skytop Lodge in New York. It was lovely meeting these two and learning more about how their love story began. I hope you enjoy my favorites from their engagement session below! #loveisnotcancelled
Note: These images were captured by Michelle as an associate photographer for Lauren Fair.

We love the soft hues and cool tones of this botanical-themed Baltimore nursery featuring snuggles, coos, and of course—fiddle figs.

Thank you, Michelle. I adore Race Street Pier! It is a favorite Delaware waterfront location for engagement photos in Philadelphia!
