Modern & exceptional wedding photography.

Chelsea and Eric’s District Winery wedding last November was absolutely lovely! The bride has a fabulous eye for style and incorporated her fun, colorful personality into the final design. I worked again with Emily Blumberg as a second photographer to help photograph the day.

I met Emily at the winery to capture a few portraits of Chelsea before the guys arrived. Although District Winery is primarily an indoor venue, I love the abundance of natural light locations it offers. A great spot (and possibly my favorite) is at the entrance near the wine barrels. If weather is great, I also love the outdoor terrace that has great views of the river. Wedding couples also has the option to use the boardwalk located behind the venue for portraits. So many options!

Chelsea and Eric’s ceremony was held outdoors on the terrace under the heat lamps. Their reactions during it were so cute. A notable moment I remember was at the end of the recessional they cheered while Eric raised his sword–so epic!

The warm and inviting reception was especially amazing. Chelsea added amber goblets to each place setting to help build the dinner glow. The long tables created a family-style feel that I think is so special for a wedding celebration.

I hope you enjoy these photos from Chelsea and Eric’s day!
