I had the honor of joining The Crawfords’ team as a second photographer to help capture a New Orleans wedding. You may know of the infamous venue. Wedding enthusiasts have shared it across various media outlets over the years.

Il Mercato boasts a timeless Italian style you’re hard-pressed to find anywhere else. I enjoyed capturing the venue’s unique charm. Firstly, you’ll note casual vibe created by the outdoor fireplace, living wall(s), brick pavers, and bistro tables and chairs.

Secondly, wreaths tied with roses adorned the iron-wrought entrance gate. The couple selected a beautiful acrylic welcome sign and a guestbook awaited guests for their signature inside.

Last but not least, wedding designers chose a variety of room and table layouts inside, including a long table in the center with round tables throughout.

Overall, I enjoyed my first visit to Il Mercato. I’m especially looking forward to my next one!
