This past year was filled with lots of joy and incredible clients, and compiling my 2019 behind the scenes images was tough! I managed to find and relive some of my favorite moments and I’m excited for you to see work that goes on behind the scenes of a wedding day, especially in the photography world. Enjoy!

2019 Behind the Scenes with Michelle Whitley

Most wedding days begin with me shooting the bride’s details in the bridal suite.

Or I’m struggling to sync my camera’s capture time with a giant glare on the screen.

Every wedding comes with its set of challenges. Like educating family members or bridal party on how to look their best during formals.

Or when crunch time hits and we have about 20 minutes to capture all the images we need. Not a second to waste!

During the ceremony you can find me shooting from all angles.

And sometimes while on the job we experience strange and unexpected animal encounters…

Though most images we shoot turn out the way we intend, there is my occasional photobomb.

And if you happen to catch my face during the reception, you might see the amazing RBF I was born with. (Do you sense my sarcasm?)

…but it’s okay because I have the best job in the world, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

…and I couldn’t do it without my fabulous team of second shooters and assistants working hard behind the scenes.

Through all the ups and downs, I’m grateful for the opportunity to capture beautiful couples in love on their best day. Thank you for all your support in 2019, and cheers to more amazing moments in 2020!
