Modern & exceptional wedding photography.

Before the coronavirus madness swept over the world I had the opportunity to photograph a wedding styling workshop at FOSTR Collaborative in Washington, DC. Elizabeth Carberry hosted this event and guest speakers included Aimee Griffin (A. Griffin Events), Laura Ritchie (Grit & Grace), and Yodit Gebreyes (Favored by Yodit), all incredible wedding planners and designers in the Washington, DC area. Attendees were also treated with a fabulous lunch spread from Heirloom DC before settling down to chat with the guest panel.

After the speaker panel, Elizabeth offered attendees her best tips in an interactive hand-on styling class. Attendees styled their own flat lay with the provided props and styling kit and the creativity commenced. I was there to photograph the entire process and would absolutely attend again. To conclude, I’d highly recommend Elizabeth’s styling workshop to anyone in the wedding industry who aims to elevate their design skills. Flat lay styling has definitely become a key element in the industry. Undoubtedly this is a great way to master your skills and apply them to your future projects!

Thank you Elizabeth for inviting me to capture this wonderful event!
