The images for today’s Great Marsh Estate winter wedding are from my time at the Nicole Colwell Workshop last February. During my time there I was lucky enough to meet wonderful new friends, gain expert photography knowledge, and curate new photos for my portfolio. We did three shoots in total, and this was my favorite one. I’m sharing a handful of images I captured below, and I’m honored this editorial was featured on Ruffled!
You can’t tell by looking at the images, but this was a seriously cold day in February! We were grateful the sun was out for most of the day or otherwise it’d be even colder. I loved meeting and working with Adriana Gorman for this shoot; I’d been following her for a while on Instagram and loved her aesthetic. Adriana creates a number of beautiful weddings every year in the Washington, DC area. I hope to be able to work together again soon! The incredible florals were provided by Love Blooms. Emily is an extremely talented florist and I love following her on social media and seeing the beauty she creates.
Although every element of this shoot was beautiful, the shining star had to be the gold tiara from Heat of Gold Designs. What a showstopper!
